How Tile Estimator handles your information
This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it when you create an account, use the estimating workspace, store projects, and manage billing.
Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information when you use Tile Estimator:
- Account details such as your name, email address, password authentication data, and login activity.
- Business and project details you choose to store, including business profile fields, customer information, project notes, dimensions, materials, and generated documents.
- Billing information related to subscriptions and payments. Payment details are processed by Stripe and are not stored in full by Tile Estimator.
- Technical information needed to operate the service, such as device, browser, session, and error or audit logs.
How we use information
We use information to operate and improve the service, including to:
- Create and secure accounts.
- Save projects, backups, and workspace preferences.
- Generate documents such as quotes, invoices, agreements, materials summaries, and reports.
- Manage trials, subscriptions, billing access, and account recovery.
- Respond to support questions and prevent abuse or unauthorized use.
Cloud storage and backups
Tile Estimator stores workspace content in cloud services so projects can be reopened later and recovered from backups when needed. You are responsible for the accuracy of the project and customer information you choose to store in the workspace.
Billing providers
Subscription billing is handled through Stripe. When you start a paid plan or manage billing, Stripe may collect payment method and transaction information according to its own policies and security practices.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help operate the product, such as hosting, authentication, email delivery, and billing services, only as needed to run Tile Estimator.
Retention and deletion
We retain account, project, and billing-related records for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain backups, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can contact us if you need help removing an account.
Your choices
You can contact us if you want to:

- Request correction or deletion of account information.
